Some summers it feels like you hardly put your bathing suit on before it's time to shop for school supplies. And with kids in the house, those supplies run over into activities for rainy days, traveling in the back seat of the car, sitting on the front porch of that great beach cottage, or just doodling around because it's one of those nice lazy days.
In any event, the need for writing tools to make your summer and fall easier is ever present. Depending upon the ages of the kids, you will need everything from a classic yellow #2 pencil for testing to a nice mechanical pencil with dark lead for math classes. Teachers still ask for black ink on papers written by hand, and the younger generation needs something colorful to work with--like Scholar art pencils.
We try to keep the pricing down all during the year so parents can take advantage of some nice deals and have extra writing gear in the house just in case. If you browse the kid korner, ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, or woodcase pencils, you are sure to find the right fit for the different sized hands in your family.
Young adults also like rollerball and roller gel inks for school use because of the smooth delivery. There are a variety of styles and colors so they can be techy or chic or just plain colorful. The new InkJoy ball point pens from Papermate are a hit because of the great way they lay down ink on paper.
We still have some rulers, protractors, paper punches and other pencil box necessities which can be found over in the close out section. We won't be carrying them much longer because they were discontinued by the manufacturer, but a plastic ruler lasts pretty much forever. The prices are REALLY good.
Since school days are about to return, look over the site, have some fun, and enjoy the pricing. If you don't see something you need, call us at 214-803-9945.
