It's summer and the kids are now home. Play dates abound. Sometimes electronic gear just doesn't fill up the day and you want something a little more creative and fun for the group. We have some simple ideas, and a bunch of items in the warehouse that have been waiting for kids to grab and go. These products were part of both the Colorific and Foohy lines and stand the test of time because they are things like colored pencils, erasers, protractors, scissors (both blunt and sharp), watercolor paint and brush sets and more. If you get a couple of pads of newsprint, kids can draw freely and have fun making shapes or copying images of their favorite cartoon characters. There are also some wonderful beginner how-to-draw books at places like Barnes and Noble. I can personally draw a giraffe and a polar bear thanks to a kid draw book.
Since our products have been hanging around on the shelves for a while, we are reducing them to really great low prices. That way if you want to have a few things in the toy box to help with rainy day play dates, it won't punch a hole in the old pocketbook, and it should bring at least a few giggles into the playroom.
These double ended pencils give you 16 color choices.
Or try the 24 count set for lots of opportunities for smaller hands.
No matter which you choose, your kids will have a great time creating. And we have bunches of fun shareners and erasers to go with these colorful pencils.
Don't forget the watercolor paint sets with brush. Remember those from when you were a kid? Take a look at the Kid Korner and see what you think.
