You might ask yourself why I would always be spouting this love stuff about writing implements, but the truth is, writing with pens and pencils is deeply personal. It's self expression taken up a notch. Certainly you can experiment with different fonts and background colors on your pc or tablet, but there is something more tactile about a pen or a pencil. And I have a favorite. In fact, I have two.
One is the Clearpoint from Papermate. It comes in three lead sizes: .5mm, .7mm, .9mm. I suppose you can guess which was my favorite. The barrel below is for a .7mm but you get the idea. I LOVE .9mm leads!
You can easily see your writing when doing Sudoku on a plane or in a restaurant. Or at home. Any puzzle or game has to submit with this pencil. It's easy to control and the lead comes down by clicking the little gizmo on the barrel. It shows above as a dark blue stripe in the middle of the pen. If you need refill leads, as I often do, we have them. Nice, dark, yummy soft leads to make that mechanical pencil sing.
And the other favorite is very similar: VIBZ!
There are other color sets. Some have yellow , red, orange, lime and blue.
These can be used with the squishy grips, or they can be rolled off the barrel so you have a straight body pencil, and you can give them to the kids. I use them both ways.
In either case, the mark they make is pleasant and dark. The erasers are white vinyl, so they don't make a mess, but they take the mistakes away. And when you need lead refills, we have them.
Erasers? Right here
