Markal just released it's Dura-Ink WashAway marker for industrial applications. It has some pretty neat features, so you won't want to miss it if you work where a temporary marking device is needed. This one marks with a nice big chisel in bright Pink, Green or Blue and dries in a snap. I swiped the glass on our front door, and it grabbed the surface. Since the ink is xylene free, I wondered if it would adhere well, but it did. After I fiddled with it for a bit--announcing our web site etc in bright pink, I simply took a paper towel and a little water and POOF, it was gone.
The chisel is substantial, so your marks will be seen, and the barrel is short and fat with a large clip so it goes into a pocket or onto the edge of whatever you're wearing and off you go--and no drag from weight. It's light as a feather.
If you work in Quality Control, or you need to leave temporary instructions on a pipe or glass or other surface, it's done and then easily gone. Even better--no ghosting.
The compact design gives control in a new way, and you have multiple surfaces to work on including steel, glass, iron, aluminum and other non-porous surfaces.
I admit I also wrote some lines on my white board. I know, I know, we sell Expo, but if you don't have a dry erase marker and need to leave instructions--it wipes off white board with water as well--and the ink is incredibly bright. No one can say they didn't see your note!
